You're probably looking for a way to lose weight fast for teenagers.  If you're a teen, losing weight has some similarities and some differences to adults with regards to how you lose weight.  However, to lose weight fast for teenagers, the rules of our bodies are the same.

It's all about calories. You have to burn more calories than you take in.  There are tons of ways to do this.  You have to research a few things and learn some dieting techniques, but once you get used to it, you'll be able to do it without thinking.

To lose weight fast for teenagers you need to have a healthy diet.  I'll go over a few basic rules.  Cut out candies, soda, and all the obvious junk food.  You can set aside one day a week when you can eat that junk, but it's best to avoid it.  It will be a knife to your diets throat.  For breakfast you can eat more, at night, less. Eat lost of fruits and veggies. Avoid oils, butters, and other high fat foods. Good types of cooking are barbeque, bake, boil, steam, and roast. Bad types of cooking are deep fry, fry, and anything that involves lots of oil.  Eating out with friends is still possible - just be sure to pay attention how your food is cooked, don't over eat (skip the fries), and get a water, or at least something diet if your really can't resist.

To lose weight fast for teenagers you've got to get some exercise.  Many teens hate PE class, but if you want to lose weight fast without a crash diet, starving yourself, or developing eating disorders, you've got to get some kind of exercise. PE is a bit of a pain because to get good exercise in you've got to get a good sweat going, and then you've got class right after.  No one likes showering because it's embarrassing to do so when you're the only one.  I lost weight when I was a teen and took a lot of heat for being the only kid to shower in the PE class.  If you've got thick skin, go for it.  If you're worried about it. Don't do it. There are other options.

So let's say you're the type that could go for some exercise.  Join a team. To start exercising and lose weight fast for teenagers, school sports teams are a good answer because they set a time when you have to exercise five days a week. However, some sports teams are clique-y and might want to be avoided depending on your social status at school.  Some are fun and welcoming to all types of students.  I joined the track team which was not the popular sport at my school so many types of people (fat and thin) joined and it was a great place for me to get exercise, and guess what - EVERYONE showered and it wasn't a big deal.  After school sports is an option.

So maybe sports at school is not an option. To get some exercise lose weight fast for teenagers there are clubs and places to go outside school.  Maybe there's a boxing club or karate club.  It depends on where you live.  Maybe you can start jogging near your home. Find a park, and invent your own program. Pushups and sit ups at home and a half hour jog. Including shower and transport, just over an hour and your done.

Maybe you hate exercise, you can still go for walks, take out the trash, walk the dog or mow the lawn.  Exercise (even if it's just a bit) is important to lose weight fast for teenagers.

I am 13 and weigh like 14 stone! my bmi is overweight and i have tried dieting but i cant seem to fir in the exercise with school in the way. my mum cant really afford to take me to clubs and pay because alot are really expensive. i dont know what to do and what meals to eat, and im tired of being made fun of for my weight. please help

well i do feel like the biggest kid in my whole school... i tryed going on diets, eating healthy... which i am very healthy... my parents say its just all my musle but... my friends and i get teased some times about being fat.... its hard and sometimes diets dont workout for me i need help

The key is starting small. You don't have to run a marathon and only eat carrots for the rest of your life. Start by saying that you're only going to eat fruit after 6pm and that you're going to go for a 1/2 hour walk three times a week. If you can do that, then, although you won't see many results, you can start cutting out more snacks, adding healthier foods, and getting more exercise. There are also TONS of free sites around that can give you ideas of what to eat to cut calories. The information is there, you just have to go get it.

'Healthy' is a very subjective word. One thing that's hard to understand is that everyone's metabolism works differently. Some people can eat out every single day and stay thin, while other people run every day and still have a bit of fat on them. You can't say that all diets don't work for you - maybe you haven't found the right one. You'll have to experiment a bit and see what works better for you, but if you still feel your overweight, then you've got to change something. Losing weight is something you have to decide to want to do. As a teen I tried to lose weight about three times before something finally clicked, and I got into a rhythm where I could accomplish my weight loss goals. Keep a food and exercise diary. You'd be surprise where calories sneak in and where you might be able to burn a few more.
